The Essential Oil of Fragonia:
Fragonia: Agonis fragrans
Chakras: 4, 5 and 6
Emotional/ Spiritual Support, Peace and Harmony within Self
Fragonia is the first essential oil name to be patented by the Paper Bark Co from Western Australia, who coined the name. The patent means that anyone else distilling Agonis fragrans cannot use the name Fragonia on their label.
Effects of Fragonia on Physical Body: It regulates the body clock and has a positive influence on PMS symptoms. It also assists the Respiratory System as it is an anti-inflammatory, decongestant, and fights common infections related to respiratory problems. It has an analgesic effect when used externally on joints and muscles and balances and strengthens the immune system. It is also an Anti-Microbial.
The Emotional effects of Fragonia: "Balance, sense of unity, opening the Heart, letting go of accumulated negativity, free flowing energy within me"...things that most people search for. Dr Penoel, a prominent aromatherapist from France calls Fragonia Oil the golden proportion because of its balancing effect on our energy. He believes it is the yin or Female aspect of Tao and Kunzea is the yang or Male aspect. I will be talking/writing about Kunzea in the next post.
The Honeyeater reminds us of being on the lookout for Heart-full moments in our lives. It is about drinking the nectar of life. A Honeyeater moment I had recently was when I was teaching the ADJ level 2 and giving out the seeds of the Wisdomkeeper Rite. The energy and power that came through was amazing and nearly brought me to my knees in Gratitude! It can also be beautiful moments when you watch a bird sing or see a beautiful smile from a Loved one.
What Honeyeater moment have you had lately? Always be on the lookout for some of these times--as they will appear when least expected. Enjoy them!
Aroma Drum Journey Training: Shamanic Healing Training
In this training you learn Shamanic Healing techniques. The training is delivered in three parts. ADJ training is about empowering yourself. It boosts self-confidence and brings you incredible heartfelt wisdom. It clears away the clutter of the past and is a pathway to healing and manifesting the life you want, giving you a sense of ease and Joy deep inside. ADJ training is a combination of Shamanic Drum Journeying, Initiations, and Aromatherapy for support.
Over the three levels of training you will receive the 9 Rites of the Inca Shamans, the Munay-Ki. They are initiations of empowerment and the Rites of passage: The Healers Rite, The Bands of Power, The Harmony Rite, The Seer's Rite, The Daykeeper Rite, The Wisdomkeeper Rite, The Earthkeeper Rite, The Starkeeper Rite and the Creators's Rite. These bring you wisdom and knowledge for deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.
The Shaman Drum Journey technique has been traced back over 20,000 + years. We also know that Aroma has a profound effect on our Body, Emotions, Spirit and Mental attitudes.
The next round of training is:
- June 26, 27 & 28 ADJ Level I
- July 17, 18 & 19 ADJ Level 2
- September 18, 19 & 20 ADJ Level 3
Winter is the time of year when the sunlight is the weakest and the days are the shortest. This is the time when nature takes a rest, when plants and trees retreat their energy, their sap into the Earth for replenishment. This is also the time of year that we naturally need to take a pause from the business of life. Each year this is the time to reflect on ourselves and what is happening in our life and go into our consciousness. We look at what is working for our highest good and what isn't working.
Weaving the cocoon to journey within is a process of introspection, defining boundaries and then setting intentions. It is a process of going into the inner silence and seeing the wisdom of who and what we are now and getting to know ourselves. Rhonda will guide you into the Cocoon with an Aroma Drum Journey. We will also celebrate the darker light of the year what that means to us and share a feast together.
Cost: $30 + plate of food to share, Children under 16 are free. This is an alcohol Free event. email Rhonda to register: firstname.lastname@example.org
Things to do in the Garden:
This is clean-up and preparation time in the garden. What we do now will give us a head start in the Spring plus get out to enjoy the fresh air, blowing away any Winter blues. If you haven't already done so, remove the dead and dying foliage from your vegetable garden. Put mulch and manure down to decompose during the winter as this will feed, protect and keep the moisture in the soil. This is also a good time to prune and shape shrubs to clear away the extra foliage in your landscape. Check the individual varieties for how and when to prune them. Like people, shrubs and trees are different and their needs may also different.
Hope to see you at some of these events and if you need clarification please don't hesitate to call or email me.
